A Sad Poem
Especially for certain mothers.
My brother-in-law wrote a poem to go with a special picture box his mom made for her sister who lost her baby girl 2 days after birth. She never got to see her baby because she was too sick. She even missed the funeral, so she never got to see her except in the one photo that was taken of her laid out in a beautiful little dress. This was really hard on her. The picture box is beautiful and I hope it helps her.

I want to read the poem but the link won't work.
It is so hard to lose a baby. I can't imagine not being able to go to Samuel's funeral. Although my Mom didn't make it to either of my sister's funerals, so I know it can happen and you can heal...but, Mom doesn't remember much. I have to ask Dad questions about my sisters. Things were so different back then...no pictures, we weren't supposed to talk about it....shoot! we weren't even allowed out of school to attend Carol Sue's funeral (my other sister was born before I was...). I'm glad we do things the way we do now. It helps to authenticate our losses instead of hiding them and our grief.
(((hugs))) to your bil's Aunt.
At the moment, he has it on the main page.
