How long do you take in the shower?
Submitted by Strive2Be.
Before my hair cut, it took about 25 or 30 minutes. Now I can do it all in about 10 minutes.
What does blogging do for you?
Submitted by Madeleine Rose.
It's my socializing thing.
I'm an extreme extrovert who happens to be a stay-at-home mom. For a little while I would go absolutely crazy without having very much adult contact and then I found boards where I could talk with other moms and later Jeremy started blogging and reading blogs and showed me a few of Phisch's posts when she would talk about NM because he knew I'd enjoy them. I became a regular reader of her and a few others, hijacked his blog a few times to post my own stuff, and really got into the blogging world. He gave me my own blog after he realized that I was posting more than he was on HIS blog. That was about 6 years ago. I love being able to share the things that happen in this household and read what other people share. I like the interaction it has given me with other adults and it helps keep me sane when the only time I am able to get out with other adults is for church for weeks on end.
Out of anyone in your address book, with whom would you most like to have lunch today?
I don't have an address book, but if it is my Vox neighborhood... I'd like lunch with Phisch.

The rules of the game get posted at the beginning. Each player answers the questions about themselves. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged and asking them to read your blog. Let the person who tagged you know when you’ve posted your answer.
1. What was I doing 10 years ago?
I was pregnant with Amie and we were living in an apartment. I was just learning about the internet on the computer that my DH had built from leftover parts that his work was throwing out.
2. What are 5 things on my to-do list today?
Didn't really have anything on my to-do list, but I went to Target and got a few things and then I did something else... see post under this for pics. (it won't let me make this regular... I've tried everything I know)
3. Snacks I enjoy...
M&Ms, oreos, PB crackers, corn chips and salsa con queso
4. Things I would do if I were a billionaire....
Build our dream home. Fix up old house that so that we could sell it. Help my sister pay off some bills. Pay off school loan. Pay back my BIL. Give to church, missionaries, and other Christian charities that I want to help now, but can't. Get my BFF a car since hers is falling apart.
5. Places I have lived....
A few different places in TN, upperstate NY, a few different places in MO, and a few different places in IL.
6. Jobs I have had...
Church nursery workerCollege Library putting books on shelves and inputting new book info into the computer
Cashier at one of those stores that has educational toys
Nanny
Cashier at Chick Fil A
Cashier at Walmart
Watkins Consultant
Mom
Homeschool Teacher
Youth Leader (not paid)
Children's Choir Leader (not paid)
Assistant Adult Choir Director (not paid)
7. 5 people I want to know more about...
Um....... sorry, I can't think of anyone who hasn't already done this, so if you want to do this, just comment.
Hmmm, not sure why the text changed color, but oh well. It's all good.
But if you want story, go over to my regular blog... I'm too tired to even copy and paste.
Show us your last text message.
LoL The last one and the few before it all say "K" and that is all. I don't like using text much and about the only use I have is for Jeremy to send me the time that the train leaves from the station in Chicago, so I know when to pick him up. My reply is always, "K" so he knows I received his text as we have had problems with texts not getting to us or getting to us late.
What's making you smile today?
There isn't a lot making me smile today. It's a rough day. I have 2, maybe 3, kids sick. There is lack of sleep due to one of the sick kids needing me get up and get medicine in the middle of the night. AND it is raining, so I can't go out and trim the rest of the bushes.
But there is always something that makes me smile... Charlie cat laying in weird positions on the bay window. I'm waiting for him to fall off. AnnaBeth has had some fun on PBSkids.com and printed out some cute pictures for me. Amie is helping me out a bit around the house since I've been busier with the kids who aren't feeling very well and she's made me smile by her sweet attitude about it.
Whoop... there went Charlie! That brought a laugh.
What are five things that make you unique?
Submitted by RA<3TA.
1. My personality - I am me and don't want to be a copy of anyone else.
2. My kids - I have five of them with an span of exactly 6 years and 2 months from first to last and I totally love it.
3. My faith - It is my own. I don't believe something because a pastor says it. I believe what I believe because I read my Bible and figure out what it says on my own. I ask for help sometimes, but I always draw my own conclusions at the end.
4. My husband - He challenged me to be a better me long ago when we were just friends.
5. My parents - They taught me so much and helped mold me into who I am.
Show us the very last picture you took. No cheating!
Here is the last picture on my memory card... the last picture I took. It was yesterday and I saw Mittens sitting in the bay window in our living room. Since we moved here, that's been her favorite spot. For pictures of our new house, check out my Flickr.
