What do you always say you will do but never actually get around to doing?

Learning to play the violin. I hope to someday be able to finally do this.
Lewis Carroll was born on this day in 1832. To celebrate his birthday, show us your favorite character from Wonderland.
Considering I love cats this shouldn't be much of a surprise... plus the fact that he just makes me laugh.
What's the most complicated part of your life right now?
ME!
What does Martin Luther King, Jr.'s legacy mean to you? How do you celebrate his legacy in your own life?

I had the kids do an oral report on part of MLK Jr's life today. That was the only school they really had to do. They had to do the research and then talk about what they learned.
We "celebrate his legacy" in our church every week. It is a multi-cultural church. It is primarily African American, but Pastor Bill is white, his wife is Korean, we have some Hispanics and Latinos. They don't mind the kids singing, "Red, and yellow, black, and white, we are precious in His sight." because we have some of every one in our church. We all get along so well too. We have a food ministry, the Produce Mobile, every first Monday of the month and people of many different races come and congregate and talk together, some being served and some serving. I love my church. We are all free to join together and I think MLK Jr would be happy with this Chicago-land church.
In honor of Benjamin Franklin's birthday, tell us: When was the last time you flew a kite?
A year ago last fall... so Fall 2007. Jeremy's parents had helped take care of some of the kids while we looked for a house and had bought a kite for them. When we went down there to bring them all up to the house we found to rent, they got out the kite and we flew it... or at least tried to. I think it got up about twice for about 5 or 6 minutes, maybe once for about 10 minutes. I think something was slightly messed up on it. We had fun though and that is what matters.
What's the best thing between two slices of bread?

Leftover turkey from Thanksgiving or leftover ham from Christmas... of course, that only works the few days after those holidays. The rest of the time, I put up with inferior sliced meats.
Which countries have you visited? Which countries are on your list to visit?
I've been to Canada and to the Bahamas. I want to go to Mexico, Ireland, Scotland, England, the Philippines (friends there), Japan, Germany, Australia... I could go on and on. I'd love to be able to travel all over.
Snowball fights, hot cocoa by the fire, and sleigh rides... What's your favorite thing about winter?
Trips down south where it's warmer... I really don't like winter. I drink cocoa all year long, so it's not a winter thing for me and I don't like the snow and so I don't go out in it for snowball fights or anything. I do like my warm electric blanket.
